Caring for Your New Piercing
Your new ear piercing is just the beginning of a beautiful journey – and proper aftercare is key to keeping it healthy and happy! Here’s what to keep in mind:
Keep it clean
Gently clean the piercing twice a day with a QPP aftercare product recommended by your piercer. Avoid harsh chemicals or alcohol, which can irritate the skin.
Hands off
Try not to touch or twist your new earrings unnecessarily – clean hands only!
Let it breathe
Our Safety Lock design prevents the earring from being squeezed too tightly, allowing plenty of airflow around your piercing to support faster healing.
Be patient
Healing times vary, but most ear lobe piercings take 6 weeks to fully heal. Cartilage piercings take 12 weeks to heal. Stick with your aftercare routine and avoid changing earrings too soon.
Watch for signs
If you notice unusual redness, swelling, or pain, contact your piercer or healthcare provider.
