“Pull & Click” Technology – for Gentle Activation

QPP Click is an innovative ear piercing system based on the world’s unique, patented “Pull & Click” technology. Developed by QPP, this technology is activated by pulling from the front rather than pushing from the back, ensuring just the right amount of pressure for a safe, precise, and gentle piercing experience.

The piercing earrings and their backs come in sterile cartridges, which are inserted into the instrument. The smart design of the safety back guarantees secure positioning of the earring while allowing optimal airflow around the piercing. At the same time, the rounded shape prevents snagging on clothing or pinching of the skin – ensuring comfortable sleep and optimal healing.

With traditional “Push-Through” Piercing Systems, force is applied from the back of the piercing instrument to pierce the ear, quickly pushing the piercing stud into the ear lobe. This rapid movement can result in an imprecise ear hole, causing discomfort for the customer.

Our “POP-Open” System, an advanced safety mechanism, automatically ejects the protective capsule of the earring after the piercing process has been completed. This prevents the earring from getting stuck and causing discomfort – a common issue with standard push-through piercing systems – and ensures a smooth, comfortable piercing experience.

The intelligent safety lock design guarantees optimal air circulation around the piercing canal. The safety lock ensures that the earring is securely fixed without pressing too tightly against the ear. This protects the ear and reliably prevents the risk of infection or the stud growing into the ear. At the same time, the safety lock prevents the earring from catching on clothing and pricking the skin with the tip of the stud — for an uninterrupted good night’s sleep.

All this contributes to optimal and comfortable healing.

QPP – Ear Piercing Process – Step by Step

  1. Clean both the front and back of the ear lobe with an alcohol pad. Wait for 30 seconds for the alcohol to dry.
  2. Mark the exact piercing spot using the special QPP marker.
  3. Provide your customer with a mirror so they can check and confirm that the marking is correct.
  4. Gently remove any excess ink using a clean alcohol pad, leaving only a small dot visible.
  5. To remove the cartridge, grip it with two fingers at the center – not at the end.
  6. Insert the cartridge into the designated slot from the front. Gently press to ensure the cartridge is properly positioned on to the instrument.
  7. Gently pull the ear outward, keeping the cartridge parallel to the face. It is essential for a successful piercing to position the end of the cartridge (where the safety lock is positioned) against the back of the customer’s earlobe.
  8. Align with the mark on the ear, holding the instrument at a 90° angle. Gently pull the CLICK instrument to bring the piercing post into position on the marking. Then pull the instrument all the way, hold closed for 2 seconds, then release.
  9. The 2 seconds are crucial for activating the "POP-Open" System; a safety mechanism that ejects the protective capsule of the earring, preventing it from getting stuck and causing discomfort for the customer.
  10. After the piercing, gently remove the instrument from the ear by moving it downwards.
  11. After 24 hours, apply your QPP Aftercare Product twice a day to both sides of the ear.
